Comment Response And Daily Report

From Memphis Mojo:

There was no 8 nor an ace on this board. He hits an ace on the river. Yes, that's annoying, but it's what you want him to do. I know you know this, but he got lucky this time, that's all.

Oh yeah, I sure do know this and I want that fish to make that move always and every time he does I so want to be in the hand with him no doubt about it.

From Anonymous:

please can you tell me about table number 13 as i have run into this problem before thanks great blog!

Thank you.  Ok, usually I am not an overly superstitious person, but there are a few things.  I won't walk under a ladder, if something costs $6.66 I will add another item to my purchase and I try to avoid the number 13 as it has long been known as an unlucky number.  One day while on Hero I played on table 13 at the $4NL tables and lost almost 2 buy-ins.  I decided I had tempted fate once and would not do it again.  Well the other day I had one trouble table where I dropped nearly a buy-in and a half and low and behold it was table 13.  I had not noticed when I fired up my four 6 max $4NL tables.  Two times in a row this happened.  OK it may be a bit silly, I admit that, but most poker players have one superstition or another and bottom line is three times will not be the charm......I am staying off table number 13!! lol.

Got off early today, slept a few hours and hit the tables dropping a quick ($11.37) in less than 400 hands.  Rebounded and after 674 I had picked up a buy-in and a half back and the session ended after 809 hands and a small loss of just ($2.54)

Played in the $5.50 Stud tournament once again tonight and this is something I can play in on a nightly basis.  It starts at 730pm, gets less than 40 players from what I can tell and ends before midnight so it's something I can play each night even when I have to work the following morning.  I once again entered late, but only missed 2 hands.  32 players, top 5 paid and I pulled a 2nd place finish for $40.

I notice now that I am on rakeback I do not get the points at the same rate any longer.  This was expected as Hero did the same thing. I am still getting points on a 65% basis so it's all good.  I will hit the next VIP level and while I cannot exchange points for cash or get the points rebate I will qualify for a $10k freeroll at the end of the month.  That's all for today.  Good night all.

Play well.

  2. Well done on the tourney. Are you still taking any shots at the $10 NL 6 max games, or are you waiting until you have a bankroll to cover playing 4 tables of $10?

Great job with the blog. It's helped me a lot with my transition to cash games, in figuring out what goals I need to set, as well as making me strive to try to keep up with you on my bankroll building.
